Camping at Shaffer Bend on the lower Colorado River

The day we arrived was beautiful, we then had an 80 degree New Years Day.

Then things changed. Cold moved in. The area is beautiful. The deer are everywhere. Spark saw a huge buck. We took the jeep out for a couple of rides and Spark took a bike ride or two. I ,of course, gathered shells.

A Little History

Hi, we are Bruce and Arlean Parker; better known as Crappa & Memaw. Our two main interest are traveling and being with our children and grandchildren.

We have been blessed with 4 childen, Ginger Lynn Smith, Michele Lee Moss(Greg), Bruce D. Parker (Lisa), and Josh W Parker (Anne). Now for the best part, 9 count 'em 9 grandchildren:
Jillian (Golliver) Bolthouse(Michael), Jennifer Golliver, Lucas Mahanna, Quentin Moss, Katie Rice, Garrick Moss, Megan Moss, Emma Wenell, and Paige Wenell. Don't let the names confuse you, they are all ours! lol
